Easter Egg Hunt Notes

Preparations for the annual Easter Egg Hunt that we co-host with the Satanta Chamber of Commerce are underway!

We have 1,650 eggs ready to go. They will be divided into three equal amounts for our three ages divisions: birth to PK, K-2, and 3-6. Brent will ask Matt at Centera to donate rolls of quarters to stuff additional eggs with the day of the event.

Each division will have a grand-prize egg with a matching gift basket. Ryan bought items for these last year after Easter, so they are ready to go. Brent suggested asking the Chamber to provide a Satanta Day carnival wristband gift certificate for each grand-prize basket as well. (He and Ryan have also spoken about the Chamber reimbursing the class--at least in part--for its expenses. We are asking for $100 to help cover our costs.)

We will hide the eggs after church (on April 1). This will mean that we will likely want to stay after church and have lunch in the fellowship hall. Ryan will purchase items to make sandwiches for those who are interested. Please feel free to pitch in by bringing desserts or other items, such as paper plates, drinks, veggies, etc.
