Satanta Community Easter Egg Hunt
This year's Satanta Community Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 24 @ 3:00 p.m. at Apache Park across from the Satanta United Methodist Church (SUMC). The fun will begin with a traditional Easter egg hunt with three age divisions: birth to preschool, Kindergarten to second grade, and third grade to sixth grade. Two thousands eggs provided by the Satanta Chamber Commerce will be supplemented by another 200 eggs filled with quarters donated by Centera Bank, Satanta. In addition to this, the SUMC's 21st Time Class is providing four large prizes for each division. Following the hunt, children and their parents will be invited inside the SUMC where the church's Outreach Committee will host a number of other activities: first, the story of Easter will be related through Resurrection Eggs in the sanctuary; then, children will be divided into groups and invited to move to the church's fellowship hall for games, snacks, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Don't miss the fun!
