We plan to organize and deliver school supplies next Sunday (August 14). Let's plan on organizing during the Sunday School hour and making deliveries after church. We could even make plans to have lunch together at the church. This may or may not entail an emergency run to Dollar General to finalize purchases.
If anyone asks, we are still short on Kleenex and cigar-box-size pencil boxes.
We have an abundance of crayons, so we've thought up a couple of creative ways to distribute them. For example, we could place a note on them that says "Teachers color their students' worlds" and give them to the grade school teachers as a welcome-back gift to the GS faculty. We might then want to do something similar with dry-erase markers for the JH and HS.
