Thanks to everyone whose generous donations helped us purchase prizes for the Easter Egg Hunt, which is next Sunday, April 5.We got most of the eggs stuffed with stickers and bunny money this morning. Stacey took home the rest to finish stuffing.
We will get everything set up next Sunday. The DISCO kids will help us hide eggs and manage the hunt. We might send someone to bring back lunch from the restaurant so we can just stay at the church to get things ready.

We decided we had enough eggs with bunny money, so Stacey is going to pick up some more stickers to stuff in the rest of the eggs. She is also going to pick up baskets for our big prizes.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, we moved all of our stuff out of the corner as we reorganized--there's now a big leak right where everything used to be. After church council last night, we moved everything onto the table where it should be extra safe.
I think Brandee might be picking up some extra prizes as well in case we have a big turn out for the hunt. With 1,500 eggs, we might need a lot of stuff to give away. Besides, if we have leftovers, we can put them in the MAM room so that the families we serve can put together Easter baskets for their kids. Hopefully, we will let everyone in town know (once again) that Satanta United Methodist is the place to be!
